Youth Leadership and the Future of Our Community

A community’s future depends on the young people willing to lead it. In a climate pulling young Canadians toward division and cynicism, we see our youth not as an audience, but as our next leaders.

That is why NAC works closely with the Azerbaijani Canadian Youth Network (ACYN). ACYN gives young Azerbaijani Canadians a space to build leadership, develop civic confidence, and form meaningful connections — grounded in our legacy of coexistence and respect.

Through mentorship, cultural programming, networking, and youth-led initiatives, ACYN has helped students and young professionals find their place in Canadian public life. These gatherings bring our youth into dialogue with diplomats, community leaders, and elected officials, not as followers, but as contributors.
