TORONTO – The Network of Azerbaijani Canadians (NAC) announces the new 2023-2024 Board of Directors, voted by the organization members across Canada. The new Board will oversee the organization’s direction and growth under the Chairmanship of Dmitriy Kirillov. Dmitriy Kirillov brings a wealth of experience from the corporate Azerbaijani and Canadian oil and gas sectors. A staunch advocate for the Azerbaijani Canadian community, Dmitriy has consistently, continuously, and passionately served the organization since its inception in 2020.
The organization’s team expresses immense gratitude to Anar Jahangirli for his Chairmanship of the organization for the past three terms. Anar’s dedication to the community, professional experience, and strategic vision has propelled NAC into the largest national community-funded Azerbaijani Canadian advocacy organization. Anar Jahangirli will remain on the 2023-2024 Board and will continue to oversee NAC’s strategic direction.
Please welcome NAC’s new 2023-2024 Board of Directors: Arzu Bozkurt, Sevda Guliyeva, Fatma Ismayilova, Rubaba Ismayilova, Anar Jahangirli, Dmitriy Kirillov, Mubariz Mammadov, Elkhan Nukhiyev, Yusif Savalan. Each brings a unique skill set, decades of professional experience in diverse fields and strong leadership to the organization and community.
The leadership election is part of a comprehensive and transparent nomination process by formal members of NAC across Canada. Each NAC member has an equal opportunity to put forward her/his candidacy for the Board of Directors to be elected by the community during the organization’s Annual General Meeting each June.
