Throughout 30 years of Armenia's UN-condemned occupation of Azerbaijan's sovreign regions, Armenian forces decimated approximately 10,000 square kilometres of Azerbaijan’s territory. Entire Azerbaijani cities, towns and hundreds of villages — once home to 750,000 Azerbaijanis, who were all forcibly displaced — were looted and razed to the ground. All semblance of life was deliberately targeted. Centuries-old cultural heritage lays destroyed.
